The Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Laurel Kivuyo from the United Republic of Tanzania as the Southern Africa Youth Envoy to East Africa.
This prestigious three-year appointment is coordinated within the SAYoF Secretariat and will work closely with the International Relations Desk of SAYoF. The Youth Envoy’s mandate is to strengthen diplomatic ties, foster youth collaboration, and advance regional integration between Southern and East Africa. Ms. Kivuyo who exceptionally served as the first Southern Africa Climate Change Youth Envoy; following the recommendation by the Government of South Africa through the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Alvin Botes during the 4th Southern Africa Youth Forum formally known as SADC Youth Forum hosted in South Africa; she is a renowned and a dedicated youth leader.
