The Southern Africa Youth Parliament announced that they are excited to celebrate the appointment of Hon. Khereng Khereng as First Secretary at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho in Berlin, Germany. They pointed out that this achievement marks a significant milestone in his journey from the Regional Youth Parliament floor to the esteemed corridors of diplomacy.

They commented that Hon. Khereng’s career exemplifies the essence of youth leadership and highlights the importance of pan-African collaboration. They commended his commitment to advancing the interests of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and broader African goals on the global stage.

The parliament hailed the guidance from their Patron, H.E. Boemo Sekgoma, who is the Secretary-General of SADC-PF, as well as the Chief Mentor, Mr. Sheuneni Kurasha, along with other mentors, noting their pivotal roles in shaping leadership in the region.

Additionally, they emphasized that the SADC Youth Parliament is recognized in the region for grooming young leaders, advocating for youth inclusion, and promoting sustainable policy options within SADC and Africa.

The Youth Parliament extended their warmest congratulations to Comrade Khereng, expressing eagerness to witness the positive impact of his contributions in this pivotal role.
